Each new cat we take in is:
- Health checked by a vet
- Treated for fleas and worms
- Neutered (if appropriate)
- Vaccinated against cat flu, enteritis and leukaemia
- Insured for 4 free weeks when homed
Volunteers work throughout each day to ensure all cats in our care have their needs met, such as food, clean litter and heating relevant to weather conditions. Should a cat require veterinary care we have to meet the costs of medication and repeat veterinary consultations as required. Not to mention getting the cat to the vet.
The Montrose & Brechin Branch has no paid employees. All of our activities are carried out by volunteers, many of whom fit in the needs of the cats around their own full time work and familes.
In this world of increasing costs we must fundraise more than ever and would like to ask you consider supporting us by making a donation to the branch.
£2 per month would be a great way of supporting your local branch and could be paid directly to us via the bank.
Please call us on 03453 712 738
if you would like to arrange this.
